Koforidua Technical University (KTU) is now accepting applications for the 2025/2026 academic year. Programmes Offered

Postgraduate Programmes

KTU’s postgraduate offerings are designed to provide advanced knowledge and skills in specialized fields. The available programmes include:

• Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Construction Technology and Management
  Duration: 2 years
  Eligibility: Applicants must possess a first degree in construction-related programmes with at least Second (2nd) Class Lower Division. Those with lower classifications may be required to pass a written examination and interview.

• Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Water Resources Engineering and Management
  Duration: 2 years
  Eligibility: Applicants should have a first degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Agricultural Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geomatic Engineering, Physics, Water Resources Management, Natural Resources Management, or any field relevant to water resources.

• Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering
  Duration: 2 years
  Eligibility: A first degree in Renewable Energy, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Physics/Chemistry, or related engineering programmes with at least Second (2nd) Class Lower Division.

• Master of Science (MSc.) in Accounting and Finance
  Duration: 1 year
  Eligibility: Applicants must have a first degree in accounting-related fields with at least Second (2nd) Class Lower Division. Alternatively, applicants with professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAG, ICAEW, CPA, CFA, and similar certifications are also eligible.

• Master of Science (MSc.) in Data Science
  Duration: 1 year
  Eligibility: A first degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related programmes with at least Second (2nd) Class Lower Division.

• Master of Science (MSc.) in Computer Science
  Duration: 1 year
  Eligibility: Applicants should have a first degree in Computer Science-related programmes with at least Second (2nd) Class Lower Division. Those with Third Class degrees may be required to pass an examination.

• Master of Science (MSc.) in Procurement and Supply Chain Management
  Duration: 1 year
  Eligibility: A first degree in Procurement and Supply Chain related programmes with at least Second (2nd) Class Lower Division. Professional qualifications such as CISCM Level 3, CILT International Advanced Diploma, or CIPS Level 3 are also acceptable.

How to Apply

Postgraduate Applicants

1. Visit the KTU Postgraduate Application Portal.

2. Create an account and complete the online application form.

3. Upload required documents, including academic transcripts, certificates, and passport-sized photographs.

4. Pay the application fee as instructed on the portal.

Note: Applications must be submitted by December 31, 2025.

Undergraduate Applicants

1. Obtain an Online Serial Number (OSN) E-Voucher from any of the following banks: Republic Bank, Fidelity Bank, Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB), Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), or Universal Merchant Bank (UMB).

2. Alternatively, purchase the e-voucher by dialing 776102# on all networks.

3. Visit the KTU Undergraduate Application Portal and use the e-voucher to access the application form.

4. Complete the form and upload the necessary documents, including result slips and passport-sized photographs.

Note: Applications should be submitted by January 31, 2026.
